Otsego Club day 2 went off with a bang. With the weather warming up by the minute and campers well rested after a long firs day, it couldn’t get much better. Campers worked super hard during day 2 to really perfect the tricks they learned the day before. At the end of day two, So-Gnar put on a progression session for the campers allowing everyone to feed off each others energy and try/learn new tricks within minutes! Check out all the sweet pictures taken by Steve Cummings.
After a good nights rest from the powder day before, campers were back for more! With higher temps than the day before, campers grew more lively and kept the good energy high. After a good half day of perfecting new tricks, campers went in for an Evol Burrito lunch. After eating, it was time for the progression session. As a couple campers were practicing new tricks on the down box, Pat started a massive hand plant lesson getting almost every camper doing hand plants. Thanks to everyone who came out and made our last Midwest stop so memorable. Check out all the pictures taken by Steve Cummings.

Day 1 of So-Gnar’s Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour started off fun but cold. At around 9:30 in the morning, campers and coaches headed out to the hill only to find out they basically had the whole place to themselves. The various groups ventured around the hill and got an idea of what Otsego had to offer with features. With 3 different terrain parks, campers of all ability levels were bound to find a couple new things to try and learn on. At 12:30, everyone headed into the lodge to warm up and to eat lunch provided by Evol Burritos and Red Bull. Throughout the rest of camp, the groups found features to session on and learned new tricks plus tips on tricks they already new. Check out all the pictures taken by Steve Cummings from day 1 of camp at the Otsego Club, Michigan.
For this year’s event, we had to come correct with the art yet again. For this year’s Snowdown event, we will be creating an Urban Street Art photobooth. In addition, we will be conducting live screen printing with Apolllo Ink. There will be 6 artist’s involved with this event: Andrew Hoffman, The Signtologist, Captain Safety (So-Gnar), Dave Sheets, Steve Cummings, and Pat Milbery (So-Gnar). Each artist will get a puzzle piece shape. It’s up to them to fill their puzzle piece with any art of their choosing. Those 6 puzzle pieces assemble into one comprehesive design. These limited 6 solo-artist designs and the one comprehensive design will be screened and available courtesy of our friends at Apollo Ink at Snowdown!
POSTERS ARE FREE! They are available as a gift from So-Gnar to anyone in attendance at Snowdown. Quantities will be limited, so be sure to pick up your ticket soon. The first 50 people to the So-Gnar booth can get their hands on a freescreen printed poster.
